This lovely holiday accommodation in Mugello is perfect for large families and group of friends being a combination of a villa for 7 plus an annexe flat for 6. Located in the medieval village of Casale, in the commune of San Godenzo (at 4 km with shops and restaurants), these holiday homes are in the heart of the Tuscan Apennines, surrounded by nature and its magnificent forests and are ideal as a peaceful getaway in the mountains near Florence. The villa is on two floors. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace, a living room with Sat-TV, a dining room, a study with a single sofa bed and a bathroom with a hydromassage shower. On the first floor, there are 3 double bedrooms and a bathroom with a corner bathtub for two. The property has a big flower garden with a large swimming pool (11x6mt, open Apr-Sept), a fitness room, a spacious, furnished veranda, a wood-burning oven, a barbecue, a fountain from which one can drink the fresh spring water of Ortale and even a small private consecrated chapel.
The apartment is on two levels, an independent entrance leads to the ground floor where there is a living room, 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom fitted out with a shower. 10 steps lead down to a lower level where there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a double bedroom and a bathroom fitted out with a shower. From this floor, a door leads out into a gorgeous private garden with a barbecue and heated Jacuzzi tub (3x3 m, 90 cm deep, 4 seats or 2 comfortable loungers) with an incredibly scenic view.

Florence is at 45 km and nearby San Godenzo, founded in 1028, has much to offer visitors, such as the old Benedictine abbey. Close at hand is also the stunning National Park of the Casentino Forests and Monte Falterona where one can take long walks or go horseback riding.
